Varbergs GIF Friidrott has the honour to warmly welcome you to the summer city of Varberg and FOLKSAM GRAND PRIX VARBERG, on Tuesday 22 July 2025.

The meeting will take place at the arena Påskbergsvallen. We are looking forward to an exciting evening with thrilling events!

Folksam Grand Prix Varberg is part of World Athletics Continental Tour, Challenge meeting.

The main programme will take part at 18.00 – 20.00.  

The meeting will be broadcasted live by Swedish Television, SVT.

Men: 100m, 1 Eng mile, 400m hurdle, Shotput, Discus
Women: 100m, 1 Eng mile, 3000m, Long jump, Shotput, Discus

Prize Money
Category Challenge-events: € 400/300/200/100 = € 1000 per event.

The tax rate in Sweden (15%) will be deducted from all prize money and promotional fees. No tax deduction on travel contribution.

Entry Fee
150 SEK per confirmed entry.
