Invitation FOLKSAM GP Sollentuna 2024

A World Athletics Continental Tour Bronze meeting and part of the Swedish Folksam Grand Prix series.

WA ranking status “C”
Women: 100 m, 400 m, 1500 m, 400 m hurdles, High jump, Shot put
Men: 200 m, 800 m, 1500 m, 400 m hurdles, Long jump, Discus, Shot put
Men and women shot put will be staged as a “mixed” competition with 6 athletes per gender having 3 throws, round 1-3, and then the top 4 men and top 4 women get to throw the last 3 throws, round 4-6.

PRIZE MONEY
The prize money for the main meeting events is totally EUR 30,000 and here are the two prize structures for the main international events;
A-Prize money
EURO:1st-1000/2nd-600/3rd-400/4th-300/5th-200 = total EURO 2500 /event
Women: 100 m, 400 m, 1500 m, 400 m hurdles, High jump
Men: 200 m, 800 m, 1500 m, 400 m hurdles, Long jump, Discus throw
B-Prize money
EURO:1st-600/2nd-400/3rd-300/4th-200 = total EURO 1500 /event
Women : Shot put
Men: Shot put
FINANCIAL
The tax rate in Sweden is 15% which will be deducted on all prize money and promotional fees. For travel contribution which is backed up by travel documents there is no tax deduction.
NATIONAL PROGRAMME
The national events are part of the WRC meeting SAYO which gives it "E"-ranking status
National events/ Pre-meeting 13.30- 14.45
Women: 100 m, 400 m, 400 m hurdles, Long jump, Discus
Men: 200 m, 400 m hurdles, High jump
National events/Post-meeting , kl 17.00-18.30
Women: 800 m, 5000 m
Men: 1500 m, 5000 m
Entries to National events, please use the online-registration link "ANMÄLAN" on our webpage and last registration date is Friday 7 June at 18.00 (CEST). Entry fee is SEK 150,-/event which will be invoiced after the meeting.

Stockholm Arlanda International (ARN)
Bromma City Airport (BMA)
Stockholm Skavsta Airport (NYO) airport bus and we meet athletes at City bus terminal
TRAVEL
For invited and confirmed athletes in the main international events we can offer a travel contribution of the actual travel cost up to max EUR 400.
Travel contribution must be agreed with the athlete liaison at the time of confirmation of participation and for reimbursement the travel invoice must be backed up with receipts, booking confirmations or other travel documents.
The travel contributions for coaches / ARs with at least 4 invited and confirmed athletes in the main international events could be up to max EUR 300 IF agreed beforehand with the athlete liaison.
ACCOMMODATION
For invited and confirmed athletes in the main international events we can offer full board accommodation 2 days at the official hotel, Scandic Star Sollentuna. This also applies to coaches/ARs if it has been agreed with the athlete liaison beforehand.
